Individual, Aviation, Couples, and Christian Counseling
Sometimes life can overwhelm your coping skills. When this happens, tools which were previously effective, no longer work. This may leave you feeling hurt, frustrated, disappointed, or angry.
There just are no instant fixes. I do not have all the answers. However, through mutual, structured exploration of your life experiences, we can identify and assess how your thinking influences your emotions and behaviors. This process works best when you take an active role in the therapy process and are willing to work hard to make necessary changes.
You can increase the benefits of our work together when you:
- Take positive action instead of blaming or shaming.
- Become willing to be vulnerable; this means sharing emotions openly.
- Take responsibility for the work you must do to change. If nothing changes, nothing changes.
